Rodriguez’s new book is “From Our Land to Our Land,” a collection of stories and essays about race, culture, identity, and belonging. The author of the bestselling “Always Running, La Vida Loca, Gang Days in L.A” Rodriguez served as Los Angeles poet laureate from 2014 to 2016.
