Honor Dr. Martin Luther King's Birthday by supporting voting rights by viewing Greg Palast's documentary, The Best Democracy That Money Can Buy: A Tale of Billionaires and Ballot Bandits. Investigative reporter Greg Palast exposes the new Ku Klux Klan—the billionaire bandits that are behind the successful scheme to supress millions of votes by people of color.

The environment for minorty voting rights has not been this hostile since the end of Reconstruction. The orchestrated systemic voter supression schemes used to successfully disenfranchsie millions of minority voters is the biggest untold story of the 2016 election. Greg Palast will be present to discuss his film and book and strategies to combat the coordianted attacks on democracy and denial of the constitutional right to vote.

Civil Rights activist and former D.C. Councilmember Frank Smith, a confident and friend to Dr. King, will also speak about Dr. King's legacy and our current political environment.
