Join us at McNally Jackson's Seaport location on Wednesday, November 9th, at 7pm, for the NYC launch of Cat Fitzpatrick's debut novel The Call Out: A Novel in Rhyme, featuring Cat in conversation with fellow author Casey Plett.

Cat Fitzpatrick is the Editrix at LittlePuss Press, the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University—Newark, and a noted society hostess, for a given definition of “society” and “hostess”. She tweets @intermittentcat and maintains a website at catfitzpatrick.net. Her first novel, The Call-Out, is out in November 2022 from Seven Stories Press.

Casey Plett is the author of A Dream of a WomanLittle FishA Safe Girl to Love, the co-editor of Meanwhile, Elsewhere: Science Fiction and Fantasy From Transgender Writers, and the Publisher at LittlePuss Press. She has written for The New York TimesHarper’s Bazaar, The GuardianThe Globe and MailMcSweeney’s Internet Tendency, the Winnipeg Free Press, and other publications. A winner of the Amazon First Novel Award, the Firecracker Award for Fiction, and a two-time winner of the Lambda Literary Award, her work has also been nominated for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. She splits her time between New York City and Windsor, Ontario.
